Last week, I covered the reasons why you should prioritize hiring a mental health professional over a dating or relationship coach. This week’s guest, Dr. Carmen Harra, brings together the best of both worlds.
Dr. Carmen Harra’s Guide to Love
Dr. Harra is an intuitive psychologist and author of “Committed: Finding Love and Loyalty Through the Seven Archetypes.” This book addresses the question, “Why is finding commitment so hard to achieve?”
Dr. Carmen Harra shows you how to reevaluate the way you think about love. Her book is basically a relationship manual that reveals the work you’ll need to perform on the inside and the seven distinct archetypes you’ll encounter on the outside.
My Interview with Dr. Harra
In this interview, the first thing we do is address Dr. Harra’s work as an intuitive psychologist. One might think that intuition is something mystical, but Dr. Harra is quick to point out that intuition is your brain at work. She uses both intuition and her psychological experience to counsel others.
We also discuss her book and how it can be used as a manual to learn and discover your prominent archetype, as well as your strengths and weaknesses. Dr. Harra states that it’s important to understand yourself in order to understand how to attract the love you desire.
Lastly, we talk about learning to love being single and establishing a commitment to yourself. These steps are especially important before you rush into a long-term relationship with anyone. Knowing how to be committed to yourself will help you create a strong foundation to build something solid with someone else.
