Single? Frustrated? Wondering why dating is so damn hard? You’re not alone. There Are No Nice Guys is a podcast for single women.
There Are No Nice Guys is about divorce, dating, sex and what happens when single women realize there are no nice guys. Think of it as a support group for single women—created just to help you feel less alone in your struggles as you date, fall in love, fall out of love, discover new sexual delights, go months (or years!) at a time without sex, and just learn more about yourself as a woman.
My name is Laura Coronado, and I am the creator and host of There Are No Nice Guys. I am a longtime blogger (LollieShopping), but a first-time podcaster.
This podcast for single women began with an update I posted on my Facebook profile: “Please define the concept ‘nice guy.’” The responses varied from chivalrous and respectful to warnings about nice guys. Sure, they start off nice, at first, but as soon as a nice guy lures you in, he’ll turn into a real jerk.
However, it was the women who suggested that the concept of the nice guy is a gray area and purely subjective that made me realize that there literally are no nice guys. The title of this podcast is meant to be provocative and connect with the frustrations single women feel about dating.
There Are No Nice Guys is not a man-bashing show, but it is a podcast for single women that will feature honest interviews. These interviews will include tales of infidelity, divorce, ghosting, sadness, loneliness, and emotions of anger and disappointment. Sometimes, dating and being single sucks. This podcast will touch on that… a lot.
